Behavioral Therapy
Behavioural therapy is a form of psychotherapy that encompasses a variety of strategies for modifying maladaptive behaviour. The idea is to reinforce positive behaviours while removing negative ones. Behavioural therapy is a hands-on approach. As a result, behavioural therapy is usually very targeted. According to behavioural therapy, if old learning contributed to the formation of a problem, then new learning can correct it. The main aim of this therapy is re-educating the child on behaviours. Behavioural therapy techniques focus on changing the environment of the child by working with parents.
