Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy (OT) is a form of treatment for people who have difficulty moving and coordinating their bodies. It aids in the development of motor skills required for everyday tasks. Therapists work with children on coordination, balance, and self-control. Each child’s individual needs are met through OT. Therapists begin by assessing strengths and weaknesses. Then they design an exercise and activity program that focuses on the motor skills that need to be improved.
